Data protection information according to Art. 13 DSGVO:
This online survey of the UW/H serves the planning, implementation and follow-up of the university-wide Research Day at the UW/H. The responsibility for the content lies with the organisation team (tdf@uni-wh.de).
The processing of the survey data is exclusively used for the organization, implementation and follow-up of the university-wide Research Day, such as for capacity planning for catering and seating and the regictrations for workshops. By collecting data by name, duplicate registrations can be detected and name tags can be created. Furthermore, the survey is used for evaluation.
Only the information that you provide directly to us via the online survey fields is included in the survey data record. Connection data that is additionally transmitted from your end device in the background for technical reasons (metadata) is stored separately from the survey data. Metadata is only processed for a short period of time (e. g., for system maintenance and troubleshooting purposes) and only by authorized system administrators. Metadata may not be processed for any other purpose.
The survey data will only be kept for as long as is necessary for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Research Day 2023. Afterwards, the data will be deleted or anonymized in such a way that a reference to your person can no longer be established. No processing of personal data beyond the purposes described above or transmission to third parties outside UW/H will take place.
The legal basis for the processing of the survey data is your voluntary consent according to Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO, which you actively express by clicking the button below and calling up the first page of the online survey. UW/H processes the additional metadata in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO in its own legitimate interest, but exclusively for the purpose of maintaining its web systems.
You can revoke your consent to the processing of your survey data at any time with effect for the future without any adverse consequences for you. To do so, please contact the person named above.
Please note that a deletion request can only be fulfilled for data that can be uniquely assigned to your person. Further general information on UW/H data protection can be found at https://www.uni-wh.de/datenschutz/.
There you will find additional information on the rights of data subjects as well as detailed information on the connection data (metadata) that is transmitted to the UW/H in the background together with the survey data.
You can reach the UW/H data protection officer at datenschutz@uni-wh.de.
As a data subject of this processing, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The contact details of the supervisory authority responsible for the UW/H (LDI.NRW) are:
State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
